TV Junky?

So what do I get up to when I'm not building websites? Well like most, I have many interests and hobbies... OK so watching TV isn't really a hobby... and neither is eating or sleeping.

So I have a couple of interests and hobbies then. I have listed my favourite pastimes below. But I also like to the odd bike ride, I also quite enjoy DIY (but only occasionally and never wallpapering!) and if you're really lucky you might even see me in a gym... not a pretty sight!

At the moment, much of my life is taken up with planning for my forthcoming wedding, but when I have finished I intend to take up an amateur photography course. Thank goodness I hear you cry!...

Mmmm, holiday time! This picture was taken in Portugal.

The town was called Praia da Rocha, which I believe means Beach Of Rocks. Fabulous!

Badminton: Well I love to play the odd game. Not too great though! If you live in Worcester or Malvern, I play at a great club on a Tuesday night at 8pm.

It is mostly doubles of mixed ability and gender.

£3.50 Visitors fee or

£38 to join for 6 months and £1 a week thereafter

It is Powick Hospital Badminton Club, although Powick Hospital now no longer exists! We now play at the boys college in Great Malvern in the main sports hall.

Gaming: Yeah so it's geeky!? My interest quite often stems into the highly competitive games industry. There is nothing I like more than M$ bashing, especially to the MicrosoftPhiles. Not that I am biased. Gamesindustry and The Register are 2 places that feed this interest, but when I'm not getting news I love to actually play the games. I own a PS2 and a GameCube. The kind of games I enjoy are the sorts where there is a good plot or where a lot of freedom is given (big GTA fan!). I am also a sucker for the classics, SimCity being a prime example, this I play on my Mac. I'd love to post some scores or some of my cities, but just cos I like gaming doesn't mean I'm any good!

Cooking: I'm in danger of making this a full blown section on my site. I love to cook, in fact I very nearly chose being a chef over my current job... aaah the anguish of choice! What is there to say? Experimentation is the key... never ever follow a recipe to the letter, and guess work is the key to success... cook on! Oh yeah... and don't forget the vast armoury of gadgets that make your cooking life more impressive and easier...
