The Future

Well, in the time since I've moved back to Worcester in 2000, I have seen a sudden leap in development. The housing boom of the early 21st Century has meant that demand for housing has sky rocketed, many formerly derelict and run down areas of the city have been developed into luxury flats and apartments, all within keeping. Worcester has also seen itself firmly on the map with industry, large companies such as IBM, Siemens and Mazak all setting up shop in the city. Crime is at an all time low, Worcester having one of the lowest crime rates in the country. So the future looks bright from where I stand, everyday I see somewhere new opening and investment into keeping the city great. So watch this space, I think Worcester will continue to grow and prosper like its vibrant history testifies to. Here's to the next 1000 years!
